Daniel Medina
Bow Restorer
A violist from Southern California, Daniel became interested in violin and bow repair and restoration while in his teens. He first apprenticed with violin maker Kurt Neufeld in Irvine, California, and later joined the staff of Williams Gengakki Violins in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2000. Daniel continued his training on conservative restoration techniques with bow makers Jerry Pasewicz, Rodney Mohr, and David Orlin, before joining the JSI workshop staff in the spring of 2012.
He enjoys helping string players with the stewardship of their equipment, and is happy to offer his expert advice and services to meet your needs.
