Teagan Kim began playing the cello at the age of six (with the help of a red music stand and Suzuki books purchased from Johnson String Instrument!).
Cello playing and making music remained constant throughlines in Teagan's life, even as she gravitated toward other pursuits. Eventually, her varied interests led her to earn a degree in public health with a focus on environmental health, as well as a minor in music, from Johns Hopkins University.
As the Acquisitions Associate for Carriage House Violins, Teagan delves into a position that integrates her love for music, musicology, and organology with an analytical and organizational perspective.
