As Assistant in our Instrument and Bow Acquisitions team, you will provide support to the Vice President of Acquisitions and fellow employees, assisting in daily Acquisitions needs and managing the flow of instruments and bows arriving to and departing from the Acquisitions department. You would be working in a dedicated office within our beautiful and historic building in Newton Upper Falls, MA, and joining a growing department with opportunities for advancement.

Job Description:
We are currently looking for a full time luthier to assist with the maintenance of our rental instrument inventory. This includes set up and repair of all rental violins, violas and cellos.
Qualifications:
Repair, set-up or making experience with bowed string instruments strongly preferred; other job experience requiring woodworking skills or fine detail orientation may be considered. Quick and accurate work is expected, as we are a high-volume shop with high standards. Tremendous attention to detail and ability to focus amidst a busy shop are essential!
Physical Requirements:
40 hrs/wk., Monday-Friday, daytime.
Benefits package includes health, dental, retirement savings with company match, and paid time off including vacation accruals.
Starting rate is $20/hour, with potential for growth within the department and the company.
Background check will be required.
