Three Divertimenti, K.439b for violin, viola, and cello (parts) by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

Edited by Joseph Vieland. Puiblished by International

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) was one of the most prominent composers of the Classical period and is often considered one of the greatest composers of Western art music. A noted child prodigy, he excelled in all genres. His music is revered for its beauty, clarity, balance, and transparency, underpinned by sophisticated craftsmanship.

The three trios for violin, viola, and cello here date from Mozart's transitional Mannheim period in 1777 and all are light works that can be considered divertimentos. The three trios from K.439b are light, delightful morsels originally written for a trio of basset horns and arranged later for strings. Parts only. Intermediate-advanced level, Grade 4.
