Black Violin is a Florida hip hop duo consisting of Kev Marcus (Kevin Sylvester) on violin and Wil B. (Wilmer Baptiste) on viola. They have worked with Wu-Tang Clan, Lupe Fiasco, Aerosmith, and Alicia Keys, and have performed at presidential inaugural balls. Sylvester writes of their hip hop/classical crossover work: ''Our mantra has always been to engage the audience to look at things from a different perspective.''
